After its installation, Arco4Web will always need an Internet connection. During the first period it will result slow because the Client (the software that you installed on your PC) will have to store all the windows and forms that you usually use. The more you use it, the faster it is.
Be careful with all the others softwares that use your ADSL line (on your PC or on other PCs). If these softwares download a huge quantity of data, Arco4web could be slow. In this case, we suggest to disable the other softwares.

Arco4Web is strictly linked to your ADLS connection. If the connection is temporarily interrupted the software cannot be used. However, telephone companies are constantly improving their service that malfunctions are becoming rare.

1. Yes, you can. It is possible to use Arco4Web from different PC. The only thing you need is to install our software on every computer and inserting User name, password and domain that we assigned to you
Pay also attention to the kind of license you have chosen: the Basic offer permits only to a user to be connected (if you are using it at home, you cannot be connected in the office contemporaneously. Using the Expert license you can connect from 3 different station.

A managing system is a software (program) designed for optimizing and simplifying the firm’s management. Instead, an ERP software is a system that permits the management of business specific functions, in addition to classical functionalities.
Arco4Web starts as a managing software (BASIC version) but it can be transformed in a full-blown ERP destined to automatize firm’s complex processes.

This is a very important question. The main firms’ concern is to leave their data in charge of external companies. Arco4Web has been projected in order to enhance security levels. Actually, firms always connected to the Web by ADSL are exposed to risks, therefore they need protection, periodical updates and controls of security infrastructures. But that is not always possible, and not always is done.
We want to enhance security levels, but which are the technical choices?
1. Encrypted and protected communication channel. When you use Arco4Web, data transit along the net, through a encrypted communication protocol (SSL)
2. Different databases: Arco4Web uses open source databases ( PostgreSQL ) that subscribes a contract will be provided with a database. Every database is different and isolated which create another security level: who accedes to its database cannot accede to others.

You can ask explicitly the deletion of my data. We assure you to delete them as soon as possible. You can also request your data on DVD by post. (see additional services)

The payment services will start from January 2009. We will use the most common methods used on the Web (Credit Cards, etc..)

There is always the possibility of passing from an inferior level to a upper-grade license and not vice versa. Different cases will be managed by the commercial staff.
